Looks like we are all going in different directions this month. Since Marlene has not heard of anyone coming, and now has a funeral that day, it has been decided we will skip this month as was suggested at our last meeting.
So our next book club meeting will be in June and is currently slated for June 26th at Jill Taylor's home. This is the week the Stake play will be presented and at this moment Jill is in the play, so it is suggested that we move toThursday, June 19th since we will have plenty of time to read the book. Please let us know if this will work for you. |
June's book is The Country of the Pointed Firs by Sarah Orney Jewett.
NOTE: a special happy birthday wish to Helen who is turning 80 on June 13th!!
