August Book Club

Since several have been texting me to find out what we're reading for August, I've realized I need to make a decision.  Everyone seems to be out of town or leaving soon and since Vicki is preparing for their mission as well as taking care of family, she is quite overwhelmed and out of town.

So I'll volunteer to host the August book club.  The book we'll discuss is "The Heart Mender" by Andy Andrews.  This is an easy read and rather short since we're getting a late start on the month.  If anyone wants to listen to it, text me for my audible link.  You can purchase the kindle version for $1.99.

At the July meeting at Debbie's, we decided to move to Wednesday nights so a couple of people will be able to join us and we hope that won't cause additional people to be unable to attend. We'll continue to meet at 7:00 rather than 7:30 since most seem to be in favor of that time.

Our July meeting was outstanding as we heard about a lot of good books to add to our reading lists.  When I find my notes, I'll try to pass along the names of the books we heard about.  If you want to go to the blog and add your own comments on your books or the notes you took, please do.
